Natalie Sands

Natalie Sands is Senior Director,  Finance at Draig Therapeutics, where she leads the company’s finance function. She brings more than 25 years of financial experience, including over a decade within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.

Natalie began her career in biotech as Group Financial Controller at Summit Therapeutics, where she oversaw group finance operations and supported the company’s continued expansion. Most recently, she served as Head of Finance at Gylden Pharma Ltd, leading the finance function and providing strategic financial oversight across the organisation.

Prior to specialising in biotechnology, Natalie gained broad commercial and operational finance experience with major organisations, including Live Nation and Amey. 

Her experience across publicly listed companies and high-growth biotech businesses has provided her with deep expertise in financial management, operational strategy, and corporate governance.

Natalie is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
