Alicja Januszewicz

Alicja Januszewicz, Ph.D. is a strategic and impact-driven People and Culture leader who believes that people are the true backbone of every organization. With over 18 years of experience spanning technology, biotech, pharma, and medical device companies, she translates leadership vision into actionable talent strategies that turn business goals into measurable outcomes.

Alicja has served as SVP, People & Culture at Marengo Therapeutics, Allena Pharmaceuticals, Theseus Pharmaceuticals, and Agenus Bio. Earlier in her career, she held senior Talent Management roles at Epizyme, Baxalta, and Haemonetics.

She began shaping her talent philosophy at Boston Scientific, where she spent nearly six years designing and delivering global talent management initiatives that contributed to the company’s long-term reputation as one of the industry’s best workplaces.

Deeply committed to advancing women in science and leadership, Alicja has served on the boards of Women in Enterprise Science & Technology (WEST) and the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA). She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the Polish Academy of Sciences and is a graduate of the Talent Management Institute at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
